If there would be any assumption, because of San Gimignano, the Vernaccia grape would only exist as a white wine,
it would be a huge misunderstanding.
In spite of that, they make high quality out of Vernaccia nera in Serrapetrona, Marche.
And it turned out to be a sparkling wine as a DOCG class.
Viewing from Serrapetrona hill, Monti Sibilini has ,somewhat vaguely, snow.
There are black gems waiting to be harvested in the stiff hills.
Colli di Serrapetrona is a small but young and passionate company.
They just put every effort in a bottle and present the hidden charm of Vernaccia nera to you.
